📊 September 2025 Vancouver Island Real Estate Market Update

The fall market is in full swing across Vancouver Island, and we’re seeing encouraging activity despite seasonal slowdowns.

• 653 unit sales were recorded in September 2025 — up 3% from one year ago.

• Active listings totalled 4,293 — down 4% year-over-year.

• 307 single-family homes sold (-4% YOY and -9% from August).

• 59 condos sold (-14% YOY and -20% from August).

• 79 townhomes and rowhouses sold (-13% YOY but +10% from August).

Overall, the Vancouver Island housing market remains balanced but competitive, especially for well-priced, move-in-ready homes in Nanaimo, Parksville, and Ladysmith. If you’re considering selling, early preparation and strategic pricing are key this fall.

🍏 Recipe of the Month – Warm Apple Crisp

Nothing says fall like the smell of baked apples and cinnamon!

Ingredients:

• 4 cups sliced apples

• ½ cup oats

• ½ cup brown sugar

• ¼ cup flour

• ½ tsp cinnamon

• ¼ cup melted butter

Instructions:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2️⃣ Arrange apple slices in a greased baking dish.
3️⃣ Mix oats, brown sugar, flour and cinnamon; stir in melted butter.
4️⃣ Sprinkle mixture over apples.
5️⃣ Bake 30–35 minutes until golden and bubbly.

Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the perfect Island comfort dessert.
